Actually a lot of the functionality seems to be available (in slightly altered form), in the scripts in the jpath '~system/packages/stats/' folder. Perhaps the script and the accompanying tutorial <http://www.cs.ualberta.ca/~smillie/Jpage/jtsp.pdf> could become an Addon.
