Ric, What does this mean? Close your jconsole session and try to start GTK IDE session again
When you click the J icon again should you get something like a J6 session? Everything seems to be going well. It shows everything is up to date. I close and open the console again and get a domain error. domain error: cd decodecesc memr 0 _1 2,~ 'libint1-8.dll gettext > + *c'&cd<y Thanks for trying to help. Any ideas now. When I selected the GTK icon, a jconsole window would open up with an error message. I found that Rik Sherlock had a nice summary of the steps to recover from this problem here: http://jsoftware.com/pipermail/programming/2011-November/025472.html Good luck, David Mitchell On 2/1/2012 3:31, Linda Alvord wrote: > I can't get gtk installed.
