The sample xsl transformation file provided in CDS Invenio expects to be used in the context of OAI-PMH, i.e. expect to find the OAI-PMH response container, and not just the metadata part of this container. For eg. it would be suitable for this type of input: <http://invenio-demo.cern.ch/oai2d?verb=GetRecord&metadataPrefix=oai_dc&identifier=oai:cds.cern.ch:CERN-PPE-92-085> You can easily adapt the xsl to your needs: $ cd /opt/cds-invenio/etc/bibconvert/config/ $ cp oaidc2marcxml.xsl oaidc2marcxml_jinr.xsl $ emacs oaidc2marcxml_jinr.xsl (then edit to change for eg. all the XPath selectors. The sample xsl files provided with CDS Invenio need in any case to be customized for your own installation to populate the fields you want.)
