"BTW, how do you reset a Mailman ML password from the command line ?"
You don't. That the issue.
"There's a script for mailman 2.1.x, but on our 2.0.11 I had to resort to a little
Python script and 'whithlist'."
Hum, do you have a working script that can change mailman 2.0.x passwd with a command
line? If so, that's wonderfull.
The next step would be to include in a well chosen place (/mail/admin right) a way to
make that change. It is probably easy to allow a change of the password in the
database (take care to only alter the mailman related part) + status change and then
make sv_mailman updating everything if it reach this status.
Indeed, this page would be accessible only to project admins.
(I insist on the fact that the it would be best to have this third party script called
by sv_mailman)

Original Submission: It should be possible to reset reset mailing-list password in an

request. It should be pretty trivial.
It may implies change in the savannah code.

I'd be willing to add a 'Reset list password' in the mail/admin interface...
