Ok,
So I decided to go the easy way and simply import the files as they were on
the CVS, without paying attention to their history. We use CVS/SVN because it
is more user friendly than rsync (you can easily trash plenty of things with
rsync) but the history is not über-crucial.
Currently, the CVS are still in place, in read-only. We will trash them quite
soon.
In the run, I caught something like 5 groups that were no longer hosted here
but apparently it was too hard for the project admins to send us a 2 lines
mail about it -> projects trashed.
(I closed this item once CVS repositories will be removed)
