I just wanted to point out some of the features we'll be working on soon in case people haven't checked the road map recently. 1) Our mirror network (once stabilized) will be made more useful by offering downloads of recently uploaded files. Instead of files being in a strange "shows up on D.MD.o but not available" state they would be available for immediate download from our master server (we would request that you use your discretion and wait the regular 8-12 hours before making announcements, though). 2) Secure installation using InstallTrigger(). We will be offering a "project downloads" page that offers users InstallTrigger() links (similar to AMO) served from an HTTPS site so that the hashes can be sure to be secure and the file can be verified correctly. 3) Better identification and searching of what project releases are compatible with what applications. We've often heard that it's difficult to know what applications & versions a particular extension/download is compatible with (including in this thread). We'll be addressing this in the near future. These are just some of the ways Mozdev.org is trying to bring better features to our users and project owners (see the roadmap for more: http://www.mozdev.org/resources/roadmap.html). We definitely have a diverse group of people that visit Mozdev.org, so feel free to offer any suggestions that would make everyone's development site easier to use for all. -Doug
