Matt,
        did you see my posting a few days ago about a new revised "clean"
re-install, Friday I believe? You mention "fresh" installs, did you delete
all the *.bpl and *.dpl files from your system before re-installing?

        I don't know what could be your problem but it certainly isn't
something that I have seen and I don't take special precautions when
shutting down Protel.
