For me, it doesn't matter much. If I am cc:d, Gnus will delete any
extra copies for me, and the only effect is that I might get the
message a little earlier. If that is what people want, I could do
public followups to list messages *only* to the list, instead of to
the author of the message I reply to with the list as Cc, like I do
now.
