hit
sync and run dmesg from a terminal. this will tell you which USB port it
is. Usually the device is closer to /dev/usb/ttyUSB1.
-----Original Message-----OK - tried /dev/ttyUSB0 through 10 with no luck. Verified that it's /dev/ttyUSB0, USB1, ... in the process. I specificed that it was a Handspring USB connection and also tried standard serial. No joy...

Subject: USB Cradle setup (Was: 8.0 Problems - Any ideas?)
Any way I can tell which USB port the mouse is on and work from there, since the cradle is on the same controller? Could I be doing something else wrong?
Cheers,
