I don't see the relevance to the question, but NT is NTFS-only. I'm fairly 
sure W2K does either.

Not that it matters. Carefully don't delete Windows partitions and there's no 
problem. If you like, put Linux in hda5 or higher.

I've booted XP with grup, works find and it all just happens. I've booted the 
9x family from Lilo and griup, no worries there either.
