FYI, Last week I posted a msg to the list asking what happened to ctags since it was AWOL after a clean install of 8.0 . I finally got around to searching for it today and found it in the XEmacs package. I don't use emacs, but did have it installed anyway on past versions.
Certainly not where one would expect it to be.
