Hi, guys. I'm finally attempting to take the plunge into PT. I've been working in Logic with a control surface fairly successfully, but because the PT interface is so much cleaner, I realy want to begin understanding it.
I've got a list of key commands and have taken copious notes from this list. However, I'm running into a couple of dumb problems because I clearly don't have something set correctly and key commands-with the exception of those on the numpad--don't seem to be responding the way they should. Two things which seem simple enough to do that I can't seem to make happen are setting the tempo and record enabling a track from the keyboard. Would someone mind enlightening me on what I could be missing here? Duh. Thanks ever so much. Humbly, G O .
