Happy Thanksgiving to GOD DAY Everybody!!!

Hi Ginny,
Make sure that the desired track to record on has its record button clicked.. Now To inter record from the keyboard just hit "command space bar" this will start the PT transport in the record mode and off yah go..

TO ENTER a tempo Hit Return and make sure you are at the start of your session then go to the event menu and go down to tempo operations and look down that sub menu for constant… and you will find the default tempo of 120 bpm just change it to your new tempo and hit apply..

Talk soon

Hi, guys.
I’m finally attempting to take the plunge into PT. I’ve been working in Logic with a control surface fairly successfully, but because the PT interface is so much cleaner, I realy want to begin understanding it.

I’ve got a list of key commands and have taken copious notes from this list. However, I’m running into a couple of dumb problems because I clearly don’t have something set correctly and key commands —with the exception of those on the numpad--don’t seem to be responding the way they should.

Two things which seem simple enough to do that I can’t seem to make happen are setting the tempo and record enabling a track from the keyboard. Would someone mind enlightening me on what I could be missing here? Duh.
Thanks ever so much.
