if i am not mistaken the disc is usually version 10.0 and then you do all the updates after the fact from avid website. Also the AAX plug in format is the issue if the you remove the folder with AAX plug ins PT will fall back to the installed RTAS versions and you can run the v10.2 with no issues providing you are on SL or Lion.
