Welcome to the list. If you've used Pro Tools in the past, you'll have an 
easier time reacquainting yourself with it. There was quite an accessibility 
gap between version 5 and version 8.0.4. I'm not sure that 11 Rack is all that 
accessible given that there's apparently a software interface required for some 
of its features. I know that Avid is aware of this and, in all likelihood, 
it'll be addressed in time. This is an interesting time for Avid for many 
reasons, not the least of which is the transition toward new product lines and 
platforms. It makes the process of investing in interfaces/control surfaces an 
exercise in option paralysis.
