Hi Rui, Clock speed is not the only factor. The processor type and generation matters. Don't pay attention only to the GHz value. Given the same processor type and generation then, yes, the faster clock speed will be faster. I'm not sure if the two models you mentioned were from the same release period. At any rate, The fastest current model you can afford is usually the best way to go, especially if you're running a host-based system and not HD and I'm assuming that to be true in your case.
