Apparently, you power on the bcf by locating the fifth button from the top 
left, holding it down while pressing the on button. This should put it into hui 
mode. Unfortunately, I don't think the bcf works with plugin automation. I've 
not used the bcf with protools yet, but a Google search should provide more 
information.
