I am thinking about picking up a 2011 Mack mini with a 500 GB drive, I5, and 8 Gb ram to use as a backup recording daw. Is anyone using this kind of set up right now? I had a friend who used it with PT 8 successfully but he wasn't into using busses, sends and a lot of plug ins. I would upgrade to a one TB 7200 drive and probably the same for an external. .
