Hi Rui,
Pro Tools will work with multiple interfaces but they must be grouped
together in what's called an aggregate device and that's done in the Mac OS.
In a nutshell, you need to launch the Audio/MIDI Setup utility and make sure
your devices are connected and powered on You need to create an aggregate
device. Select the aggregate device and go into the list of devices in the
second table and check the checkboxes for any devices you wish to include in
the aggregate device. Then launch Pro Tools and go to the Playback Engine
settings under the Setup menu. The first option in the dialog is the
Playback engine device to use for audio Input and output. Choose your
aggregate device here. Go to the I/O Setup window and select all items in
the input tab and delete the paths. Then hit the default button and Pro
Tools will automatically create paths for your connected devices. If you're
on Pro Tools 12, you can check the checkbox to apply settings across the
output tab and busses tab as well. when you're done, export your settings
and name the setup so you can load it again if necessary. Pro Tools will
default to that setup but, again, it's good to save it as a settings file.
Like I said, that's all in a nutshell. the manual details all of this so I
may be forgetting little things here and there and I'm certainly not giving
step by step instructions in this case but that's the general idea.
HTH,
Slau

Hmm . Not expected I must say! I investigate more and I realize that Or,
I'm totaly wrong or indeed Pro Tools dont aloud to use two soundcars, as
having access to both interfaces inputs. The solution is? or I do select
only the 11rack and then record from it by USB, or perhaps connect it to
my MAudio Profire 2626 through SPDIF or ReAmp?! I dont mind with the idea
of recorde a lectric guitar mono since is my prefer audio capture. But,
by curiosity, anybody uses two external soundcards, or indeed confirms my
theory?
Thanks in advance, Rui Vilarinho

Hi, both driver interfaces were perfectly instaled since they appear
fine all over the place. And I already made a MAudio ProFire recording
test with perfect result. hmm, my doubt is, shouldnt appear also the
11rack inputs within the input audio track list? If I'm not wrong only
appears all regarding the MAudio Profire!
My aim is to record from 11rack inputs. The output is like I want playing
through the MAudio Profire 2626.
