Hi, I did check that checkbox and tried what you suggested and there is a
value in the selection edit length edit box.  However even when loop is
turned on and I can hear the selection looping still the deletion does not
delete the selection no matter what edit mode I am in.  Would calling Avid
support be the best option as I do have the educational support plan for a
few more months and they might be able to find out very quickly what is
going on as every time I try something to fix the issue I get nowhere?
