I am just getting started with Pro Tools. Unfortunately, most of the hardware left from my previous stint with another DAW brand is sub quality. I wish to start over with new equipment and hardware, but do not know what equipment to purchase. I have a list of items with nowhere to find good quality brands or models. Can someone help me out? The list with additional notes where necessary is below. 1. Pro Tools 12.3 - On the way. 2. Control surface - price is not a concern. 3. Audio input for recording instruments such as vocals, guitar, and keyboard - USB enabled with a direct input method. Price is not a concern. 4. Guitar amp modulator - portable, price is not a concern. 5. Keyboard - Must be portable, workstation type of playing. Must have the ability to play soft synths/virtual instruments in Pro Tools. Price is not a concern. I believe the list above will get me started for now. A note of importance, I am completely blind, and cannot read anything printed on the screen or device. My current computer is a MACBook Pro mid 2015 with 500GB flash drive, 16GB memory, and an I7 with 8 processor cores. I have OSX 10.11 installed.
