Hi Chad,

First, make sure you have no other windows open. Control-Option-f2-f2 and make 
sure there's nothing else open that might be blocking the mouse pointer. You 
seem to be following the right steps initially. One thing to try is to 
double-click rather than single click. I've seen it make a difference on 
occasion. Also, I've sometimes had better luck routing from the track output 
window as you have attempted. However, it does sound like you might have 
something else blocking the pointer. Let me know if that works.
