Audacity doesn't do midi as far as i know. You will need Pro Tools,
Logic, and or its Garage Band (Garage band is free with every mac) or
if you are on Windows Reaper is your best option. (Reaper can be used
on the mac  but at present the learning curve may be slightly higher
than the other programs mentioned for the MAC.) So depending on which
operating system you use you will need to get one of those programs
first before you will be able to proceed with anything midi.
