Can't post a link. Not under a non disclosure agreement with Native Instruments however, the guy who posted the link was so he shouldn't have posted it anywhere or in my view have been discussing it on Twitter. I've warned you in my introduction, I'm still a rookie about some stuff, so MIDImag tells me nothing. They were running it in a stand-alone app and it's self-voicing. Also, the plan is that it will run as a VST so you may be able to get it going in PT using a VST wrapper. Talking of which. Has anyone on here used a VST wrapper for Pro Tools. If so, which one would you recommend? There was a rather impressive demo being circulated on the MIDIMag list. Its not out yet, and it'll require one of their S series controller keyboards. The demo mostly talked about Logic, and GarageBand; no mention of ProTools. As for your suggestion concerning SoundFlower, I checked it out, and it looks like it is currently not supported. However, Rogue Amoeba, who apparently were the last distributors, now have an add-on available called LoopBack, which does the same thing. I'll definitely give that a go, knowing that this Company has some other great products out, like Audio Hijack. Thanks for pointing me that way. As for virtual instruments, I haven't taken the plunge into buying any, mostly because I couldn't find reliable info on what works. All I know is what we all know: Native Instruments is a no-no. But what about Omnisphere or Nexus or something down that road? I'm mainly after hig-quality bread-and-butter-sounds, plus orchestral. Of course some electronic/synth sounds are always welcome1but since I'm a bit of an analogue nerd i would make my own...:) So any advice on that? I am thinking about giving the NI Komplete Kontrol keyboard a try, but if I could find something similar and less costly that would be great. Kindest regards, and again thanks. The only aspect of virtual plug-ins that is generally not accessible is the presets. Once the presets are accessed and saved as .tfx files, they can be shared. Incidentally, the Logic sounds can be accessed from within Pro Tools by using Soundflower. There are videos and tutorials online on how to do this dating back to Pro Tools version 11. I did it back then and it does work. I haven't done it in a while but it's certainly possible. You might want to look into that. Aside from Logic's stock sounds, which third party virtual instruments have you used in Logic? Coming from Logic Pro myself i have to say PTs selection leaves a lot to be disered, although that is a personal taste matter too. Anyways, would appreciate any input on this. Thanks!
