Not to get too off topic, but what I! wanna know, is, has anyone tried PG-Music's Band in a Box on the Mac? I use it quite regularly on the Windows side to help with arranging my music, then I take those projects over to PT, import the raw wave stem files, and then add whatever else I need. It's bad enough that I have to use JAWS scripts on Windows to get the thing to work. The program is over $500, which right now I can't afford. No trial either for the Windows version, or the mac version. I'd buy the thing, but there is no refund policy, and when I called and explained my situation, they were quite rude, and very unwilling to work with me. I love their product, but their customer service absolutely stinks, and believe me, though respectfully, I let them know it!

I just can't afford gambling $500 or more on something that won't work. No music store in my area has a demo system set up on the mac with it installed either. Otherwise, I'd just set up a time to go in and try it.

Honestly, BIAB is so mission critical to my work, that it's really the only reason I've not totally done away with Windows. If it wasn't for that one app, and I do mean, literally! just! that one? app, I'd go macintosh all the way, hands down, no questions asked.

Any thoughts?

Chris.
