Hi Peter, the Artist is still supported along with Sierra so I see no reason 
why it wouldn't work. Others are using it with no problem. Aside from just 
being on the latest OS with the latest fixes, the jump command and being able 
to go to the bottom of a table are two big reasons for me, personally.
