options available to us in all the areas you are inquiring about; nevertheless, 
here at I See Music we generally have started our learners with the following 
with great success.  Keep in mind, this is an abbreviated list.  
*Fader Port 8; manufactured by Presonus, control surface.

*Scarlett 18i20; manufactured by Focus Rite,  interface.

*The latest Pro -Tools.

*Mac-book Pro.
*An absolute must (Flo tools).
