This triggered a memory of something I heard about on the ProTools Experts 
podcast a couple years  back. It took some googling to remember the actual name 
and track down the company’s site. Anyways, Stereo Monoizer sounds like the 
quick way to do this. Not sure if there is a demo version you can try out or 
not.
