Hi,

I have an issue related to PT when running Komplete Kontrol. Some of the tracks
in an older projecxt has lost sound. They are just silent. When reloading the
factory preset that has later been edited, the sound is back. I've done some
testing on this issue:

1: To be able to study the bad settings later, I have saved the settings as a
preset. I'll soon get back to this point.

2: I then press the browser button on my KK MK2, and then press the rotor
button down since this will reload the factory preset originally used for that
track.

3: The sound is back but of course I have lost the edits done to the preset
sound. Yes, I know it had been smart to save the edited preset as a new sound
for that track, but unfortunately I havene't done that when this song was
created. Shame on me.

4: I tried to launch the settings I told you I saved before loading the factory
preset, in case I'll somehow would get both sound and settings back. But I
didn't. The track is absolutely silent until I reload the factory preset again.

5: So the question is: What setting related to the plugin and possible to save
as a preset, may couse the sound to totally go away? If I use VOCR to read what
I can read in the plugin window both when the mystic silent preset is loaded,
and when the factory preset is loaded, looks similar to me. Same values both
for sound name, no bypass or other values are different. You might wonder if
the tracks are using only NI sounds, but some of the silent tracks are also
Orchestral Tools sounds, so no pattern there.

Questions:
•Any thoughts from what I have presented here?
•In the standalone Komplete Kontrol, it's hard to know if I should click on the
text "Always use most recent NI plugin", or click on the object that VOCR find
after the text. Which will trigger the toggle of this setting?

Sorry for all the info and questions, but hope you or anyone else have any
ideas. :) I have posted some of the questions also in the KK community, but
since this might be related to the PT plugin function, I thought there might be
someone else with that kind of experience on this list as well.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Best, John André
