Andrew -

When you say these disks will only record in Daisy format on the PTR1, do
you mean by that, that I won't be able to use the music 128 stereo setting
with these disks?

Andy,

Yes, these are the maximum speed they can burn at, as the PTR1 is also
less than a 48 speed writer, you will have no problem. Actually these
disks will work on a greater than 48 speed drive, only they will only
burn at 48x speed. These disks will only be able to create daisy
material on the PTR1, i.e, not audio CDs directly.

Andrew.

Subject: Disk speed query

Hi all -

I'm looking to buy some CDR disks, and have a query on the below listed
 item:

. Grade'A'white labelled CD-R Media Disks . Ideal for data or audio
recording . 48 speed . 100 pack list end

How important is the 48 speed? I want to use these disks in the PTR1,
but I also want to be able to use them in a burner, the speed of which
I'm not sure, but believe it to be slower than 48.

The price looks really good, so will I be ok buying these disks?

 Andy
