Hi, Andrew!

Will Raquel end up with the material in Daisy like she wants without losing the new page numbering? She really doesn't want to have to redo that. If so, then this is the answer we're looking for.

Thanks!
Marilyn

Hi,

The best thing to change the bitrate is to go to the audio export option
in PRS. This creates a DAISY structure in the bitrate you want, you
though have to burn the book using your standard burning program. I.E,
the files get written to a local directory on the hdd. As for multidisk
titles, PRS doesn't support these yet.

Subject: separating book

Hi all,
I've recently run into a problem that I was hoping someone could help me
figure out the solution to.
I recorded a book from cassette directly onto the Plextalk via CD. Then,
I took the CD and imported the files as a DAISY import through the PRS
software so that I could do additional editing. Once I completed my
editing which only consisted of adding page numbers every 40 phrases, I
tried burning a copy of the book. However, it notified me that there was
an error. So, to make a long story short, I finally found out that the
book was too big to fit onto one CD. Does anyone know how to separate
the files in order to put the book onto more than one CD? Also, does
anyone know how to change the bit rate of your book other than where it
initially asks you during the process of making new projects? I thought
I could just go and convert the book into a smaller bit rate, but there
is nowhere that I can find to do that, short of reimporting the book.
I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.
Thanks,
Raquel
