Having spoken with both RFBD and IRTI PTR1 reps, for those interested, I have had much more responsive and thorough tech support from IRTI. At RFBD, if you for some reason need immediate tech support from them, plan on having to leave a message and give yourself about 3 days before having to repeat this process again until someone from RFBD finds the time to call you back. When you call IRTI, it is a quick matter of being transferred to a technician. I don't know how it happened, but IRTI is much more responsive and thorough than RFBD when it comes to helping PTR1 users. RFBD at one point simply sent the user a CD authorizing the PTR1 to play daisy books, unfortunately, for some strange reason, now RFBD seems to have made this simple process much more difficult than it has to be as it seems they want people to have to send in their ptr1 to be authorized to play their daisy books. It will cost more to ship the ptr1 to RFBD than the authorization itself. To bad IRTI has to pay for the superfluous expense.
