You can use the PRS application to do an audio import. Importing the MP3
files will create a Daisy title of them. You can do some editing if you
want before creating a Daisy CD of the lectures. The trouble with this
method, and as far as I know there is no other way to do this, is that you
need to import each file one at a time. If you choose a group of files to
import, they will probably not be imported in the proper order. This is a
windows thing. Often, for instance, selecting all the files in a folder,
say named 1 thru 9, will give you 9 then 2 thru 8 then 1. At least this
happens with Windows ME and earlier that I've used. I don't know if XP
still works this way. When importing a second file and subsequent files
into the same title you started to create, be sure you have selected the
bottom-most section in the list box. This will put your import between the
last section with audio in it and the blank one at the bottom. If you goof
and put the import somewhere into the middle of the list, you can select
the section or phrases and cut and paste them where you want instead,
assuming that you know the material well enough to select just the ones you
need to.
Do some exploration in PRS with importing and play around until you get the
hang of it. If each lecture is in only one MP3 file, it should be nice and
simple to do. You could also put multiple titles onto one CD with separate
lectures each in a folder of its own.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
As a relatively new PTR1 owner, I'm a bit puzzled.
Is it possible to apply the DAISY format to existing recordings? I have
some lectures in plain .mp3 format, which I'd like to DAISY. I'd thought I
could do this, but I can't find anything that immediately seems to tell me
how.
Thanks for any help.
Cheers,
Tink.
