Dear Jay, it's not the money. I can afford a machine. What is E-machine? I have friends, though, that have computers or can get them. But I might be interested in just purchasing one. The only thing I need is that my stuff in dos is not lost and is readily accessible. Do you think XP is the way to go or should one run any other type of Windows program. I think windows 98 is on the machine at school, a computer I never use. Best, Penny I can take that computer and bring it home.
