Hi, You need to put the unit into the position just above the off switch, which is near the bottom of the switch. It is neither in the off position or fully in the on position. What you do is the following:
1. Turn unit off, wait for shutdown to occur. 2. Push the switch slightly, ensure it is not pushed too far up or the unit turns back on, but push it so you feel a click as it goes past the off position.
