Hi frank:

Well, there is a menu  item where you can customize any setting you've 
selected. Generally, the Plextalk recognizes two seconds of silence as a 
trigger for inserting a track marker. Thus, this process can probably be 
handled automatically, but if you feel more comfortable with the following, 
you could set the customization to "no track markings", (or something like 
that, and then just use the headings key to put track markings in manually.
