Sharon, I just did it myself without any problems... i am very new to the Plextalk. If you make the CD the right way it will not work...

I've tried to update my ptr1 several times with no success. I know that before I just entered on the file name and easy cd creator came up and put in the list to make a cd from the file. Now is I try to do that it just says the computer doesn't know what program to use to run this file. I opened easy cd creator and chose data disk and burned the file on to a cd. When I put it in to the machine it tells me thaat it is an improper or damaged disk. My usb cable is in storage so can't update that way. Any suggestions as to how I can get it updated. My husband's is updated. We bought it from someone that had updated it before sending it to us. Hope I can get some help. I'd like to have the new features on my unit also.
