Sidenote: we recently discussed how that packaging thing should proceed, and the result is that it will probably go into a direction where the meta data providing mechanism (aka install_copy & friends) will be more decoupled from the packaging itself, i.e. it will probably be possible to not only build ipkgs, but also deb or rpm from the ptxdist output.
