Why is GPLv3 not "preferred" in ptxdist ? Is this a general issue for
everything in ptxdist ?
If this "preferred" is just the package authors opinion than I suggest
to write _why_ it is not preferred, for example;
... versions newer than 1.8.7 are GPLv3 and as such not preferred ,
because that version of the GPL doesn't allow us to do bla bla bla ....
