I am honored but also humbled with this announcement. I am fortunate to be part of this great community effort. I look forward to working with all of you and others to extend this community effort.

We're very pleased to announce that Kei Cheung is going to be coordinating the BioRDF task going forwards. Kei has been a very active participant in BioRDF to date, and most notably led work on the conversion of SenseLab to RDF/OWL. The BioRDF group will be taking the lead on extending the HCLS KB. Thoughts for the extensions include creating a visual interface, providing mechanisms to more easily update the data, and the incorporation of new types of data including chemical and drug data. In addition, the group will identify scientific use cases to prioritize some of the extensions. Kei would like to give the group a break over July and August, so the first call will be on September 8 2008. More information about the BioRDF task is available at: http://esw.w3.org/topic/HCLSIG_BioRDF_Subgroup Cheers, Susie, Scott, Chime
