The PDFs we generate, even with FOP, are not specifically for printing.
Ah! I don't understand why not then, because so far, mine have been just perfect for printing out. Maybe my docs are a lot simpler than the ones you guys need to produce at Red Hat etc.

There have always been issues with it and we specifically state they are
for electronic distribution not printing.
I honestly have never seen that warning! I must learn to read better I suspect. However, working in IT, I notice the first thing people do with a PDF is print it out.

So with that in mind, P3 doesn't get wkhtmltopdf to generate the toc,

Which is a good thing, seeing as PDF is a pretty decent format for print and DocBook can be used to create real life dead tree books. It should be possible!

Just so that you are all aware, I do appreciate the hard work you guys do in keeping Publican as good as it is - thanks. If I could contribute, I would. (Actually, I did, a chapter for the manual on installing Publican 2.9 on OpenSuse - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=787243)

Cheers,
Norm.
