Recently celery 4.2 was packaged for epel7[0] which is creating problems for Pulp users as Pulp only supports celery 4.0. We’ve opened the following issue to deal with this problem[1].
Until this issue is resolved, users should set the priority of their Pulp repository to use Pulp’s celery packages instead of epel’s. So far we’ve looked at asking epel to downgrade their version[2] but epel understandably won’t do that. Also, we looked at potentially upgrading to 4.2 but can’t due to regressions such as [3].
