Also I have 3.7.1 installed (x86) and am seeing a little slowdown, but nothing near 3-4 minutes. I am checking against VMWare though. However, when running the puppet agent, it takes a LOT longer for it to load facts. When I say a LOT, i mean 3-4 minutes. It looks like it just hangs for a while and then a timeout occurs and the puppet agent continues. I rolled back to the 3.6.2 msi installer and it is much faster.
