I guess my mail client has gotten to the point where the html email is  
only noticeable by the extra structure, so I'm not particular.  Maybe  
if I were still using Pine...

How will html in the comments (e.g., <pre> stuff) be rendered?  Will  
we see that html, or will it be turned into, um, something else?

Given that we're tossing code snippets and quotes around a lot, I  
think that's the biggest determinant, and if the marked up comments  
don't look readable in plain text, I'd stick to html.
