Hello Nigel,

Yes, I'd prefer to have the ability to install a flat package integrated
into the pkgdmg package provider.  I attached a patch to
http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/3378 .

The reason I went ahead and tried getting it working as a custom provider is
that I really wanted to test the ability to have a custom provider, and have
that as an example to write future custom providers.
