Have you seen Munki Roy?

I've kicked off a discussion with them about what a munki provider
would look like.
Sounds good - I'll go check it out.
Looks like we need a package provider that uses this tool!
that would add the ability to remove, upgrade & uninstallable for packages
on the mac as well. (maybe even versionable?)...
I have really high hopes for munki. It fills a huge gap in OS X management.
It's totally versionable. With this we should be able to do ensure =>
latest and have it All Just Workâ˘
If you guys end up investigating it further, please reply to the
thread on a puppet munki pkg provider, as there aren't many people
that have any experience with both tools. I'm pushing our MacOps to
investigate munki so I can get more feedback on a puppet type for it.
Well... I've got a day off on friday... I'll spend some time and see if
I can get a very basic munki provider,
by monday.
I'll go answer the puppet munki pkg provider thread.
Regards,
-Roy
