I've implemented option number 2, see:
http://github.com/ohadlevy/gni/commit/086ec942631cd083d2ba2cde3fe92621ec2a1164

I've also added parameters inheritance, that means that you can define a
parameter which is valid though the group, e.g. max = 50 for the group, but
max=20 to a specific node which is in the group (just create another param
with the same name).
