I'm the first to admit that I'm an idiot. I want to get puppet 2.6.4 on Ubuntu 10.10. As far as I can tell, I need to compile puppet. I've downloaded the 2.6.4 code, but don't know where to go from there. Any advice or pointers to existing documentation on this would be greatly appreciated.
