Hi Michael, move disk is more "copy disk" to new storage.
So it shouldn't be a problem, you can choose any destination storage or format. ----- Mail original ----- De: "Michael Rasmussen" <[email protected]> À: "pve.proxmox.com" <[email protected]> Envoyé: Dimanche 25 Août 2013 20:04:27 Objet: [pve-devel] possible bug in move disk Hi all, If you try to move a disk which is a linked clone to another disk there is no check of the target format. At least in this situation: 1) A linked clone stored as qcow2 2) User wants to move this disk to a storage only supporting raw 3) The move disk panel allows the user to choose any storage format. PS. I have not tried what happens if I where to choose any other format than raw - system is running production. -- Hilsen/Regards Michael Rasmussen Get my public GnuPG keys: michael <at> rasmussen <dot> cc http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xD3C9A00E mir <at> datanom <dot> net http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xE501F51C mir <at> miras <dot> org http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xE3E80917 -------------------------------------------------------------- You will inherit some money or a small piece of land. _______________________________________________ pve-devel mailing list [email protected] http://pve.proxmox.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pve-devel _______________________________________________ pve-devel mailing list [email protected] http://pve.proxmox.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pve-devel
