I think this has something to do with the version of the swiki I'm
using.  I must have had the old squeak-plugin on my computer, because it
used to work.  I just uninstalled it and installed the new plugin from
squeakland and now I get the error.  I can run squeak, but not the imged
plugin, correctly.  

Has anyone discovered why the remote window to the new swiki is all
black?  Can anyone take a phone call from me to get this solved?
